About Allion Elementary School
Allion Elementary School offers K4 to Grade 6.
A STEAM Bilingual school for the 21st century. We strive to provide a dynamic learning environment that encourages each child to develop his or her full potential. We are committed to creating an atmosphere that promotes intellectual, social and emotional awareness and growth.
A community school where parents are partners in their child's education, where commitment to learning and success for all is a key motivator. A school that provides a safe and caring learning environment where individual differences are respected and individual talents are discovered and nurtured.
The Quebec Education Program (QEP) defines course requirements, content, competencies, progressions of learning and the framework for the Evaluation of student learning.
A Bilingual school offers students two core subjects in English, namely English Language Arts and Mathematics while Science, Geography and History are taught in French. This means that, from Kindergarten to Grade 6, students spend approximately half their week learning in English and approximately the other half learning in French.
STEAM is an approach to learning that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. This project-based, multi-disciplinary approach, acts as an access point for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking, while simultaneously connecting to real-world scenarios.
